Well ‘Ello

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

I think I might be back *g*.

I’m not sure, though, because although I’m sitting here with the urge to blog, I’m not at all sure what to blog about…

Autumn’s definitely happening here – I thought as I was driving around the county last week that I was going to blog about how much I love the changes of the seasons – the sense of anticipation, of change, of magic.  Then I realised I could probably just look back through the archives and find the times I’ve posted about that before….

Like this time.

Heh.

I have to confess, too, that I’ve started to think about arrangements for Christmas.  Husband is very excited, because he won’t be working retail this Christmas, and can have a relaxing time off.  I’m looking at potential December hospital dates (I’m fine – it’s fertility stuff) and going, “hmmmm.”  I have a premonition that this Christmas might represent a complete role reversal – I’ve always done most of the shopping, all the decorating, planning, cooking, cleaning… because Husband’s been working….

Anyway.  We’ll see.

We sat down to watch Pan’s Labyrinth last night.  Dark, disturbing, confusing, but fabulous.

Ebb tide

Sunday, September 7th, 2008

I’ve always noticed that my level of interaction and web activity has a kind of tidal feel to it.  It’s either full-tide, visiting her, e-mailing there, posting there… or it’s ebb, and everything’s a little quiet.

I’m in one of those ebb tide phases at the moment, not very interactive with the cyber-world.  So, sorry I’m being quiet, it’s just one of those seasonal things.  :-)
